UTC Nigeria Plc started business in Nigeria as a trading company. The Engineering division of UTC Nigeria Plc. transited to UTC Engineering Limited on the 10th June 2005; which was changed to Servipower company limited on the 27th December 2006.

Our vast experience in the Diesel Fuel Injection business led to our relationship with Delphi Diesel Company Warwick UK in 2003 and consequently having the in house capability to attend to Diesel Fuel Injection issues professionally.

 Formed in 2005, previously being UTC Engineering Division within the UTC Group of companies.

PERKINS LEVEL 3 : We were the first Perkins Distributor in Africa certified by Perkins as Level 3 Distributor in 2005. We have maintained the L3 status since then.

A dealership agreement was signed with Beaver Power Company Merthyr Tydfil UK, in order to promote the Beaver Brand Generating sets, powered by Quantum Gas engines in the 30-50 kva range, Perkins Gas engines in the 500-1250 kva range or Perkins Diesel engines in the 15-2000 kva range, mainly for projects.

A distributorship agreement was signed with Quantum Gas Engine Company Merthyr Tydfil UK, in order to support the Quantum Brand of Gas engines in the 30-350kva range. We will be able to ensure that all Quantum Gas engine powered Generating sets receiving full Quantum factory backup as we have done and doing for all the products we sell or support.

Perkins formed a Distributor council under the Chairmanship of Mayphil, representing over 40 Distributors in Africa & the Middle East. Servipower is part of the council.
